Task 02: Stage 3 & 4 Landfill Gas Collection  and Control System

Run Energy will:

  • Complete works in accordance with the design drawing - Melbourne Regional Landfill - Gas Collection System Installation - DWG 15-DN-001
  • The main changes from the specification are as follows 
    • Reducing the number of isolation valves (26 to 4)
    • Installing 7 Barometric traps (4 in place of Vertical Knock-out Pots + 3 additional for effective condensate removal)
      • Also results in a reduction of KoP Pumps required (15 to 12)
    • Reusing 1 existing KOP - (total number 6 vertical and 2 horizontal)
    • Reusing 160 m of 225 PN10 pipe 
    • Removing approx 50% of the 110 mm condensate discharge line (utilise existing lines and the use of barometric traps further reduces quantity required)
    • Removing approx 50% of the  63 mm air line (utilise existing lines and the use of barometric traps further reduces quantity required)
    • Removal of vacuum testing of extraction pipework - gas monitoring results will identify any issues
    • Reduction in quantity of surface leveling required following inspection and assessment of routes

  • The quantities and units have been updated to enable payment claims (re-measure)

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
