Trenched to one vent, got pipe in and riser, sanded up and got one layer of clay backfill over it, needs to be compacted before shail layer goes above. Organized jumping jack and furphy to arrive first thing tomorrow morning to complete trench.
Continued backfilling anchor trench half way as this also requires 2 levels of compaction.

07-MAY-2023 Richard Andrews Fill up diesel jerry cans for excavator. Prestart and refuel machine.
Put smaller bucket on machine where the teeth are closer together.
This seems to cut through the hard ground better but have to take 2 buckets width each time to achieve 500mm.
Complete the Northern trench.

Rain throughout the day.
06-MAY-2023 Richard Andrews Pick up 1t excavator from Coates and drive it out to site.
Pre start with all contractors. Unload 1t machine and pre start.
Get machines inducted by Scott.
Using 1t excavator on western end, use spoil from previous anchor trench to build out dirt so excavator can fit beside piles.
Wasn't quite enough dirt so track 8t excavator around the other side and throw some dirt down to 1t.
If i was to start this trench i have nowhere to put the spoil apart from where Scott needs to put his drain.
I called Scott up there to see if he wanted to  install his drain first and that way we can put the spoil on top and then remove when back filling. He agreed this would be better.
We then moved onto the Northern side. Cleaned up and levelled off ground while tracking down the end.
Started trenching, ground was very hard and was very slow digging. Small teeth on bucket and big gap between teeth made it difficult.
05-MAY-2023 Richard Andrews RA fly to Sydney then Uber out to Eastern creek to collect vehicle.
Print off drawings, load vehicle up with tools needed for job. Load up bentonite and water cart.
Drive to Gipps st arrive 12:30. Get Dave inducted, there was some issues with the online induction so took awhile.
Go up and have a look at where new trench needs to go and access. Receive 8t excavator.
Northern and Southern anchor trench there is only 1.6m gap between piles and cut out out, we will need to use a 1t excavator to fit between.
Western anchor trench there is not enough fill outside the piles. I will need to use spoil from previous trench to build out and then trench with 1t excavator. Also Glascott need to put a drain in next to the tank.
Eastern anchor trench there is only 600mm gap in some places between pile and cut out, 1t excavator will not fit so cut out will need to be extended. Scott mentioned contactors on site may be able to help with that.
Gather paper work and pre start excavator so Scott can induct machines.
Unload bentonite out of vehicle.

8t excavator not on hire list for selection.

Items in the new table are called:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
